I didn’t know that poem, but I just read it and it’s very good. 🙂 Your still life made me imagine a woman who had just returned from the excitement of the theater. Now she sits in a quiet house, thinking about the evening. Here’s a painting by Mary Cassatt, titled “Woman with a Pearl Necklace”:
