In fact, the tulip wasn’t black but once again the best colour was no colour (black). I think here should be some track of Massive attack playing as the background.

I was commenting about how beautiful this image is and I imagined you working on it like an artist in your gigantic studio with all those floor to ceiling windows. It looks like the paid just the right amount of attention.

In fact, I was lightening this poor bouquet with a flashlight. I was standing doing this on a bed because the room is rather small (or the bed’s too big!) Curtains were shut because I needed as much darkness as possible. Finally, I decided to take some photos with monocle. I wanted to get just one flower in the frame, but monocle’s focal length didn’t suit and I needed macro filter. Which was bigger than lens and I just taped the filter to a lens with masking tape 😆 That’s how it really was!
