Hunting with a camera

I have been hunting this bird for a long time. In a photographic sense. I saw them for the first time on Naissaar island, Estonia. Cormorants are really wild birds. They seem to feel by their spinal cord just the very desire to photograph them, so when I put my hand on the camera, they immediately fly away. The maximum focal length that one of the lenses I have is 300 mm. In fact, this is very little if you shoot wild birds. In general, in Estonia I have never been lucky with them. In France, these birds seem to be more relaxed because of sunny weather maybe, so I was able to shoot one of cormorants from a fairly close distance. I would have come closer, but further was the sea.
